Westjet have done an absolutely AMAZING and PHENOMENAL job on designing this hell of a livery, which is modern, elegant and super fresh!

Most, this 1-2-1 WestJet config is far better than Emirates abysmal 2-3-2 setup.
I love this livery. Looks very sleek. Props to WestJet! :)

People then can’t say the west jet looks like the qantas livery. The Air Transat and Qantas liveries are Identical.

No. That is not what I’m talking about. I simply stated my opinion. The spirit of Canada is a blantant copy of Spirit of Australia. No JAL shouldn’t sue MU becuase you’ve just came up with something entirely irrelevant to the opinion I stated. PM me or please just back off and respect my wishes. I’ve already sorted this out with other members, not going to drag it out anymore. I will not reply to any other messages regarding my opinion. It was a simple opinion which I am entitled to. If I think it looks like Qantas, so what 🤷♂️ You can’t argue with me just becuase I have a different opinion to yours. You can’t make me change it just becuase I think differently to you. Sure I’m very very happy for Westjet, but they need to be more original in our rapidly changing aviation market.

bringing the tail fin colour onto the fuselage seems to be the new trend.
below are a list of airlines that do this:
- Qantas
- Lufthansa
- WestJet
- Air Transat
- Aeroflot
- Air India (sort of)
- American (american flag flows down not a solid colour but similar idea)
- ANA (another sort of but the colours go towards the nose)
- And many more
It’s just a template so don’t freak out. It’s ok. It’s a nice trend and it look quite elegant.
But the “Spirit of Canada” is a complete rip off of “Spirit of Australia”
Also, why did they make fun of Air Canada’s “Fly the Flag” slogan when they didn’t have any better ones. just a thought lol

This livery is sooooo nice. Simple but attractive. I think the tail design is quite impressive in terms of how much it would stand out at airports like Heathrow and Tokyo.
If this was a feature request for this livery for the 787-9, I would 100% vote to have it.
Livery looks great, but in my honest opinion I do believe it is a barebones copy of the new Qantas livery… right down to the “Spirit of Canada” text. Not criticising the livery in any way, I personally have a liking for it. They needed the update.

I don’t hate retro liveries but I do love the new modern liveries like this one. I think this livery is better than the current WestJet livery

I would hope so, or else people will be quite offended. All retail packaging has both English and French on it, a plane is no different.
