If you know me on this forum, you probably know that when it comes to aviation, I live and breathe WestJet. I don’t want this request to be confused with other requests, as this is a request for all of WestJet’s affected fleet to be re-done or added with the new livery.
Which aircraft should Infinite Flight add this livery to?
WestJet’s new livery is already popping up on several Boeing 737 MAX 8’s, which we don’t currently have in Infinite Flight. However, in their plans, all of their aircraft continuing service will eventually be repainted on their regular painting schedule. This includes the Boeing 737-600, Boeing 737-700, Boeing 737-800, and Boeing 787-9, with the latter 3 aircraft all being featured in Infinite Flight, so I would like to see those liveries added/re-done. The Bombardier Dash 8 Q400s operated by WestJet Encore will not be repainted (at least not yet), and neither will the Boeing 767-300ER (due to it’s pending retirement).
But Jake, WestJet haven’t repainted those aircraft yet, and they haven’t even received their 787s!
Well we have the Delta 787 livery and that delivery never even happened, so I don’t think this request is unreasonable.
Why should we vote for this?
Have you seen the new livery? It’s beautiful, elegant, and just as slick as WestJet were when they casually stole Qantas’ slogan.
I’m sure I’m not the only one who wants to see this added to Infinite Flight, it’s soooo much better than the old livery!
This is only a single feature is it not? Creating a separate request for the same thing on each aircraft type seems like a waste of time and forum space…
Only the max series so far, they haven’t repainted any of the NGs yet ;) (or at least I haven’t seen any repainted NGs, and I probably would considering I work at WestJet’s main hub.)
If you say “all three aircraft being featured in Infinite Flight, I would like to see those liveries added/redone.” Then that is also wanting them added too.
