Flying a seasonal transborder flight out of Nashville for a change of pace today. Since beginning in 2015, Canadian low-cost and later full-service airline WestJet flies seasonally to Nashville from Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Winnipeg, and Edmonton. Paradoxically, flights between the airline’s home base in Calgary and Music City are operated with the smallest member of the mainline WestJet fleet, the 737-700, while other airports like YYZ and YVR see the 737-800 and 737 MAX used.

Deplaned at Gate D89. For a roughly 4-hour flight on a well-traveled 737-700, it was a pretty great flight!
