Welcome to New York (eh kinda)

TOUCHDOWN! Welcome to New Yo.. wait, this doesn’t look like New York :statue_of_liberty::red_apple: where are we? We are in the city of Newburgh about an hour and a half from Time Square. Despite the far distance, Stewart Airport is listed as a New York City area airport according to Allegiant Air. They have a few flights from SWF with one of them being to Fort Lauderdale, FL :palm_tree::motor_boat: This route has always interested me and since their somewhat new Boeing 737MAX8-200 flew it recently, I had to give it a try.

Random Florida fact

The first Christmas celebration in the U.S. took place in Florida in 1593

Trenton? I know it’s a Philadelphia airport for sure (even FR24 recognises TTN as Philly) but NYC as well?

Lovely photo! Stewart is by far my favourite airport in the New York Area for several reasons including the history of the airport receiving transatlantic flights!
