I saw a plane climbing out of SYZ with 60 degrees of positive attitude (no pics). I have seen steep climbs but that is still weird. The aircraft was a rear-twin jet probably F100 or MD-80 (I vote F100 cos it’s too short for MD80). Any possible reason (besides an IF nimrod replacing the actual captain)?
This is usual at Dubai so theres no need to worry
60 degrees!
Thats something wrong there…
Departure procedures probably
Take a 717 in IF and try to do that.
Not easy or safe at all!
In Dubai planes to middle East and India Lift off early and a bit steep too to gain altitude for a perfect and comfortable descent.
Thats what i thought
Guys it is not departure procedures or any procedures at all!
Planes go max. 25 degrees. + that 25 degrees isn’t a fun thing as a passenger, more like a roller coaster.
60 degrees in a commercial jet? I’m having trouble believing that
Is this really possible?
Yes. It is true
That is in now way true. Unless you were on the plane you have no idea ethier.alot of md-80s have a steep rate of initial climb, but it’s not 60 degrees. More like 20 or 25
