Hello guys
I know that such topics are redundant but unfortunately each is specific to the time when they had been posted… Currently I’m cruising inbound to VVNB and I’m facing a fluctuating weather server in which the icon becomes red every 1-2 minutes since my departure… Now I have been in flight for 2:30 hours but nothing changed… I don’t want to loose my flight… Is there anything can be done by the staff here to fix this problem? My internet connection is stable and all icons are green except the one for weather which is fluctuating… I really didn’t want to creat such a topic but I’m eager to have a stable approach simulating the real weather at my destination…

Turn on airplane mode for 30 seconds, then turn it off. Usually solves this kind of issue for me.

There were loads of reports of the Weather Icon being Red and weather being unstable after 20.2. The staff team are working on it and should be fixed (or at least better) at 20.3.

Sometimes they reset the weather server that’s why I’m asking if any fix can be done now…

Are there actually any issues here or are we just looking at the colour of the icon? ;)

The problem that it sometimes affects the throttle and speed when the icon becomes suddenly green again and the wind speed changes… Also I’m afraid of reaching my destination and land with 77 knots wind which is completely opposite to the normal weather…

If you see a METAR at the airport, that won’t happen.
The instances have been restarted btw.

So will i get a real weather upon arrival or I will be surprised with a wind aloft speed in the APPR?

No worries.
We’ve redone this entire system for 20.3 btw. So hopefully it’ll be better :)
