Ap crashed the nose into the ground, resulting in a nose gear " collapse"

EHAM had that amount yesterday. That is a CAT III approach and I decided to be ballsy and landed it with a long manual approach.

I had to go around once, then i turned on autoland… Evacuations started 2 min later. :(

I’ll try it in a little bit. Did you have the approach speed correct? The Appr still requires you to set in the correct approach speed.

175-190 is my normal approach speed, never have i had this happen!

That is way to high for the A320 family. The A320 family should have an approach speed around 120-140kts when below the MLW.

I was flying some JetStar routes yesterday in the London region…


The landings were literally entirely ILS; I couldn’t see the runway until about .75 seconds until flare.

i found that out when i was about t land on the taxiway haha

As a consolation I was landing at EGLL 2 hrs ago and could barely see the runway until I landed
