0.25 nm of visability!
That nose dive though… lol
Ap crashed the nose into the ground, resulting in a nose gear " collapse"
Nice landing , talk about flaring !
Auto land did it! points at the autoland controls
EHAM had that amount yesterday. That is a CAT III approach and I decided to be ballsy and landed it with a long manual approach.
Id of left off the last photo! haha
I had to go around once, then i turned on autoland… Evacuations started 2 min later. :(
I’ll try it in a little bit. Did you have the approach speed correct? The Appr still requires you to set in the correct approach speed.
175-190 is my normal approach speed, never have i had this happen!
good thing im in an F-14! ;)
That is way to high for the A320 family. The A320 family should have an approach speed around 120-140kts when below the MLW.
I was flying some JetStar routes yesterday in the London region…
The landings were literally entirely ILS; I couldn’t see the runway until about .75 seconds until flare.
i found that out when i was about t land on the taxiway haha
As a consolation I was landing at EGLL 2 hrs ago and could barely see the runway until I landed
I hear there was also very low visibility around Amsterdam and Paris
landed on the taxiway again…
Anyone up for a formation flight?
ill join you!
