There are some airports (like KNUC) that don’t have live weather available. When you click on the “WX” tab on the airport info page, it just displays a blank screen rather than the typical METAR.
How are winds and visibility determined on the Live servers, where you can’t change them yourselves? Is it the weather at the nearest airport that has METAR available?
Probably. KNUC is a bit smaller, which leads me to believe that the wind info is at the biggest nearest airport
Some Airports use LWIS (Limited Weather Information System) especially smaller airports
Strange some Don’t have this
It details: Wind(Direction and Speed) Temperature/Dewpoint and Altimeter
If this happens I normally go onto FR24 and see from there. Plus it’s much more easier to understand. However most of the time the wind speed in IF doesn’t match the wind speed in FR24
