On with the long B38M flights series, one of my favorite flights to do in the whole game, as a Brazilian, this flight simply feels different to do

Expert server , GOL’s B38M, KMCO-SBBR ( Orlando- Brasília, Juscelino Kubitschek)

Flight time - 07h and 08m

Starting at Orlando’s terminal C

Short taxi to runway 36R

Rotating Smoothly

Climbing to FL360 ( Later 370 and 80)

2 hours later

Cruising over the Caribbean

4 hours later …

Descending as we approach Brasilia

On runway’s 11R short final

Landing ( buttering )

If you want a suggestion, EGSS to LEMH is a route I do on the 738 but Ryanair operate the MAX there occasionally. 2 hour flight and Menorca can sometimes offer a gusty landing.

The MAX has some pretty impressive range! Imagine telling someone from the 1940s that we can get from Florida to Brazil in less than 9 hours on a relatively small plane with only two engines.

In 1940, I think the longest range commercial plane was a Boeing 314 Clipper, which was a huge, four engine flying boat. It could go 3,500 miles nonstop, meaning it couldn’t even do Orlando to Brasília which isn’t even half the length of our longest flights now. Truly remarkable.
