What is Waypoint?
Waypoint (waypoint-live.app) is a free, unofficial live map for Infinite Flight
Every live flight on all three servers — smooth gliding aircraft, clean airline names in their real brand colors, tap any flight for full details
Airport ground layouts — taxiways, runways, gates with live occupancy, gate sizes, and which airlines park where
Active ATC everywhere — frequencies, controller profiles, Center coverage areas, and ATIS
Full weather suite — rain radar, winds aloft, clouds, METAR/TAF, worldwide storm alerts
Flight replays — scrub through any flight on Expert & Training with altitude/speed graphs
3D follow mode — chase-cam any aircraft with terrain and surrounding traffic
SimBrief flight planner — import or generate full flight plans (now with pax, cargo, route, FL and more) and see them drawn on the map
Your profile — grade, logbook & ATC log, draw your past routes on the map
Push alerts — per-flight alerts (takeoff, descent, landing, distance-to-go), pilots coming online, VA departures, ATC opening at your favourite airports (now server-specific!), and event reminders

What makes the iOS app special?
The app brings everything from the website — plus the native goodies you can’t get in a browser:
Live Activities & Dynamic Island
Follow your own flight right on your lock screen and in the Dynamic Island — progress bar, phase, altitude, speed and ETA, updating automatically from takeoff to touchdown. You can even pick which of your flights to track.
Home Screen Widgets
Small, medium and large widgets showing your current flight at a glance — callsign, route, progress and live stats. The large widget tracks two flights at once, each freely chosen. (Widgets require iOS 17+)
Native push notifications
All Waypoint alerts arrive as proper iOS notifications.
Sign in & sync (optional!)
Sign in with Discord or Apple and your friends, fleet, filters and profile sync across all your devices. Waypoint still works 100% without an account — signing in is entirely optional.
