Waypoint — a free live map/radar for Infinite Flight ✈️

Or you can even track how an empty airspace got bussy. I love to see all the planes flying away from an empty airport once we open there

Update: :world_map:

  • :blue_square: Center coverage areas — when a Center controller is online, the map now draws their airspace zone (based on the real-world FIR), labelled with the region, e.g. “London Center”, “San Juan Center”
  • :control_knobs: New “Airspace boundaries” option in Settings to outline all control areas (off by default)
  • :white_check_mark: Improved the boundaries so they match the proper ACC/FIR (e.g. the full London FIR, not just the terminal area)

Update: :mobile_phone:

  • :bug: Mobile fix: tapping Follow used to keep the big info panel open, hiding the aircraft you were following. It now collapses to a small bar (callsign, altitude, speed + a Stop button) so you can actually see the plane on the map. Tap the bar to expand the full details again.

Wow, this looks awesome! One thing I don’t like is that on mobile, I can see the flight path on the map. As soon as I click on a plane, the stats take up the whole screen.

Well the fix is only if you click on follow.

I’m at the gym now but I will have a look at it when I’m back, maybe there ist a better way. Like the small menu always and the option to open the big menu? How does this sound to you? Better?

Yes. Kinda like FR24 where when you tap an aircraft, it only pops up the smaller menu, and you can pull it up to enlarge it. Perhaps that method would be better.

I agree, once I’m home I will change it.

I already build a mega small menu. This only pops out when you click on follow.

The new menu will have a bit more informations but will be small as well:blush:

I will tag you when I push the update and then you can give me feedback

I really like the basic design!

Any chance of a dark mode toggle for the main map?

Update: :mobile_phone:

  • :airplane: On mobile, tapping an aircraft now opens a compact card at the bottom (callsign, aircraft, pilot, route progress, altitude & speed) so the map stays visible — tap it to expand the full details, or pull it back down to collapse
  • :eyes: Made the collapse arrow & close button easier to see

Done  You can check it out!

In the Menu at the bottom you can turn it on and off.

I really like it! Mega good idea, thanks a lot! If you have anymore feedback please let me know.

Update :crescent_moon::sparkles:

New

  • :last_quarter_moon: Dark map! New “Dark map” toggle in Settings to switch the basemap to a dark theme. Your choice is remembered for next time.

Improvements & fixes

  • :bullseye: When following an aircraft, the map now keeps it centred and locks panning (you can still zoom in/out) — no more losing the plane
  • :magnifying_glass_tilted_left: Following zooms in properly again, and pinch-zoom while following is much smoother on mobile
  • :mobile_phone: On mobile you can now swipe up on the compact flight card to expand it (and pull it back down to minimise)
  • :eyes: Clearer (white) collapse & close buttons on the mobile card

:warning: If you already have the site open, please reload the page to get the update — on mobile it can help to fully close the tab and reopen it.

Thanks for all the feedback! :raising_hands:

Love the dark mode, it looks great!

I can see this quickly becoming my favourite tracker, love your responsiveness too!

There’s currently no indication whether the aircraft you’re following is in AP+ or not? Is it possible to add that?

And you display the distance remaining twice in the info panel

Is it possible to convert one of those to the time remaining instead?
