Queensland Water Bombing Aircraft Crashes

A water bombing aircraft was fighting fires near Toowoomba, Queensland when it crashed.

The pilot has been taken to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition after being treated by paramedics for minor injuries.

I’m glad that everyone involved is okay, and I hope for a speedy recovery for the pilot.

The pilot is doing something incredible by helping fight the fires and trying to protect the residents of the nearby area and it’s unfortunate that this event occurred.

Such a shame to see this occur. I’m glad everyone is okay, and hopefully more information comes to light as to how this occurred.

It was alleged to be leaking fuel and to avoid spraying it on the fire (for obvious reasons), it landed. But with high winds and the rush, it then flipped. (9news)
