I was able to reproduce the issue. The callout is missing when the throttle is already at idle. It makes perfect sense actually when you think about it. I assume this was a feature added in the new update? (or it could be a bug)

It looks like it’s been changed. If you’re in idle at 20ft, it’ll say the 10ft callout, but no retard callouts. If you keep some throttle at 20ft, it’ll blast you with retard callouts, and the 10ft callout isn’t played.

The retard callout is a reminder to pull the thrust levers to idle on landing. If they’re already in idle, there’s not really a point in having a retard callout.

…which was super weird when they were originally released. It felt like the 10ft callout would call retard twice regardless of the thrust lever position. These new callouts are much more in line with how Airbuses actually do it. Weirdly, this change is nowhere to be seen on the 24.4 patch notes

I’ve noticed that to, it seems that the callouts jumps from altitude “50, 30, 10” without the retard callout

which is different from your airspeed and groundspeed, if someone says “you’re flying too fast” he isn’t referring obviously to the vertical speed lol

I have the same issue, it keeps skipping callouts even if following the correct gs with the correct descent rate. It’s quite annoying tbh… All of this has started happening since the MAX update.

The airbus should give you at less one retard even in idle before twenty.

The airbus autoland should set the thrust to idle. This is why there’s a retard retard in case you forgot the throttle while a no reverse autoland
