Warming tablet

Hello, I’m Ömer, I use the iPad Air five devices and I realise that my device is very, very, very hot while playing games, is there any problem in the game or is there a problem caused by my device or is there anyone who have a problem caused by the height of the processor, it really is testing enough to explode the tablet, I would appreciate it if you answer

Thanks

Hi Ömer,

Sorry to hear you are experiencing issues.

The iPad Air 5 has an M1 chip and is able to handle IF with all the highest graphics settings.

The device is protected against overheating and will warn and eventually shutdown when it becomes too hot.

When you feel the device is getting too hot anyway, please take it to an Apple Store or Apple certified dealer to have it checked out.

For me, a way to help with my device warming is to turn on low power mode. If you are AFK for a while, this future will automatically lower the fps of the game, thus, making your device a little cooler, I also turn off Bluetooth and dim my screen to the lowest during crusing altitude to make my device cooler. Hope this helps!

Make sure your device is properly vented such as removing the case and making sure it is not against something that is holding the heat in like a pillow.

@CaptainOmer , if you don’t live near an Apple Store/don’t want to take it in person for whatever reason, you can request that Apple sends you a box with a return label and you mail it in to their repair facility. It’s folded into the cost of the repair.

On long hauls, I prop mine up on a bookshelf so the back is getting airflow. Never had an issue with heat since I’ve started doing that, even on 15+ hour flights.
