Arguably the coolest warbird museum around… If you have ever wanted to see one of these rare planes fly in real life, this is the place:

The real life airshow is actually this weekend. If you are in the SoCal area:

You may want to change that ;)

Chino is KCNO, not KNCO.

Thank you for flying everyone! That was fun, happy to report that all the static displays were delivered as promised.

The marine layer over LA was pretty thick, so I couldn’t get a good pic of everyone. It wasn’t until the fog broke over the PMD VOR that I could see anything other than the airplane dots.

Was off at the range this morning. Missed it. Darn.

I was actually looking for the ufo, and was surprised it didn’t make an appearance!

No worries, this event was more of an expirement to see if it is worth creating events again. The new interface that highlights events on the home page and converts the time format to local really helped spread the word. I was very impressed by the interest and turnout! It gives me a lot of motivation for planning future events.

Hopefully the days of no one showing up to community planned events are a thing of the past :)
