Hey guys! It’s been a while since I flew in the online skies of Infinite Flight. I’ve been thinking about returning early next year but seems like things are happening earlier than I expected! Since I finally got my hands on my new tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE), I’ll be able to enjoy my flights without much interruptions! FYI, I just finished my initial debut solo flight out of SFO, to LAX. I was in doubt about my memory at first but I’m happy to report that everything went smoothly (including the landing)!
I’m rejoining after a few years away. I’ve always loved the community and the app, but I just didn’t have the time to prioritize it before. I’m glad to see you’re joining as well
Yeah, that’s also the main reason why I had to leave IF last year, I had a major exam at school. Now, I’m currently studying in a university but I still have plenty of free time which allows me to do flights (the ap+ feature is a plus tho). Looking forward to see you in online skies!
Yeah, it’s mostly been performing wonderfully (medium graphics with high texture quality)! Obviously it’ll struggle in big airports with high traffic density but that’s to be expected from a mid-range tablet with mid-range processor, but yeah, I’m happy with it! I’ll see how it’ll perform when 25.2 comes out (or at least open beta)
I’d say wait for my review on 25.2 update or beta. But if you need it now, you can go for it anyway. However if you don’t mind different brand and software you can try Xiaomi Pad 7 or Pad 8 if you want extra power with less price. It’s your choice.
Welcome back to the lovely skies, I personally took a hiatus from December 2021 up until December of 2024, I was dealing with a lot of stuff in personal life but I recently been grinding hours haha.
Oh wow, that’s pretty long.. you probably felt rusty first time playing after that long of not playing lol
Wait, did I mention I have graduated from high school? It’s quite old news at this point (February) but yeah, last year (and first month of this year) was one heck of a year for me, and I enjoyed every moment I had at school for that one year. I’m already in uni now and will have final exams soon (wish me luck!) so I might reduce playing IF at the moment. Good to be back tho!
I created my account in the game back in 2016, but I had never really committed to playing seriously. This year, after spending a few months on RFS and finding that the game doesn’t offer much more, I decided to dedicate myself seriously to this one, gradually gaining experience and flying alongside the other pilots.
ive rejoined after about 3 years gone from IF. i feel like either the physics are different or ive just gotten bad at flying. but i am looking for an investment like this. maybe an ipad or a laptop
I also created my acc in june 2019 if you look at my profile (even I don’t remember that I created my acc that time tho) but only started actively flying in 2021. And yes, I also tried RFS before but realised that it has terrible physics & controls (gosh I HATE that so much) compared to IF, I just move on to IF.
Private licence? Nah, I just graduated from high school and just started my first semester in university and I’m still so far away from getting a licence. That’ll take at least 6-10 years (plus I’m not taking piloting course, but still related to aviation)
Well guess what! I am also returning after almost 3 years. I’m amazed of the difference in playing experience since 2022. And I realize there’s even more to come soon.
