During my arrival into Suvarnabhumi (VTBS) today, between approximately 12:20 to 1:00 PM Bangkok time, Approach was active and providing instructions. At one point, I was asked to reduce to 200 knots. I had already initiated the deceleration, but due to aircraft handling, it took a bit longer to reach the speed. Despite complying, the controller issued a warning about a possible report and advised me to learn ATC procedures. I do have a basic understanding of ATC protocols and was doing my best to follow them precisely. I respect the role of ATC, but the situation felt a bit rushed and possibly misinterpreted.
Hey!
Your feedback is extremely important to us controllers in the IFATC. I would consider finding the controller in your replay file and sending them a direct message in order to get their perspective. I’m sure this can be easily rectified.
Thank you,
Kyle
