This year we have implemented a 2-round voting system so the community can help decide Infinite Flight’s next aircraft build! Due to the fact that the votes in the features category all have different lifespans, and since users who voted will come and go, the 2-round system allows us to take the top requests and get a current temperature check on them.

We gave you the top 10 aircraft from the features category and we had an overwhelming response! Out of 5040 votes, here are your results:

Round 2 Vote

The round 2 vote is now underway! Our top two were the A330 and A220. To help inform your decision, and so there is complete clarity, the exact variants you can expect for this aircraft build are the A330-300 and A220-300. Other variants for these aircraft will not be built. Our process for deciding on variants is evolving for sustainability and momentum of development.

We just got two heavy aircraft and the 757 is on the way. I think something smaller for a change would be nice, gotta go with the A220 on this one :)

I’m voting A330

A220, while being an absolute beauty, hasn’t got much liveries, even when factoring in the future ones, and that’s not to say that the A220-100 will see the same fate the A350-1000 saw, so it’s only 1 plane developed fully from scratch. A better option would be to vote for the ERJ rework.
A330, on the other hand, can not only be developed into A330-300, A330-200, A330-200F, but due to the fuselages of A330-300 and A340-300 being exactly the same, a possibility arises to also sack the A340-600, loosing South African, Qatar and Thai liveries, and get the A340-300 with tons of liveries in return. And that’s without even mentioning the possibility of A330 MRTT, which would double the amount of refueler planes in the game.

Having only the A330-300 and the A220-300 as our options likely changes the vote. May either aircraft be ever in luck, interested to see results.

I am saddened to see that my vote for the EJets wasn’t enough to get it a rework…if you are a truly bastion of the regional airplane category, I implore you to vote for the A220. Now we wait.

We just got three B777s. We have the A350. We are now getting the B757.

We don’t need another ‘trash hauler’. Vote for the A220.
