I like doing flights on Live to the Greek island airports, many of which have no ILS, just VOR and NDBs. I thought you would just tune the frequency of the VOR/NDB into your NAV1/2 to then be able to use the localiser (and set mode to NAV) when flying the manual approach. Does not seem to. The localiser style needle does not align to centre on the compass like on ILS when on runway heading. Can anyone give the steps to use a VOR/NDB approach properly with localiser type capability? I have already entered the approach into the flight plan when I do this.
