Experiencing no volume at all even when volume is maxed out in all settings including IF. Tested in other apps, theres volume.
Try triggering Siri.
That usually helps bringing the sound back.

Have you tried rebooting the device?

Why are you running an older iPadOS version?
I havent used this iPad in so long. Im updating to 18 already rn, ill get back to u if it fixed the issue.
I updated to 18.3.1 and still nothing.
Your device is muted.
Swipe down from the top right to bring out Control Center. Then check for a red highlighted bell icon. That should be it.

To be fair, isn’t it quite obvious now when you know? 
Same goes on your iPhone, but then it’s the mute switch on the top left side of the device.
