Vistara merges With India's national career Air India

Today is the best day of my life to see Tata Group ,ie. Vistara buying Air India. The Tata Sons will run Vistara and Air India a to run under a single name that is Vistara.

Tata SIA Airlines Limited , operating as Vistara, is an Indian full-service airline, based in Gurgaon, with its hub at Indira Gandhi International Airport. The carrier, a joint venture between Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines, commenced operations on 9 January 2015 with its inaugural flight between Delhi and Mumbai.

Tata-owned full-service carrier, Vistara has won two prestigious awards – Best Airline in India and Southern Asia and Best Airline Staff in India & Southern Asia, at the 2021 World Airline Awards besides getting ranked the highest in India for Cabin Cleanliness.

Quite a big story! I imagine that the merge of the airlines will do a good bit better with privatisation. It’ll definitely be interesting to see what the future holds for air travel in India!

" The fleet could be looking at a shake-up too. The four 747s will make their way to the still government-owned Alliance Air, reducing fleet age."
