The renowned Vistara Airbus A321neo fleet still operates under Air India after the successful merger of Vistara and Air India, although it still wears the exquisite Vistara livery.
These aircraft are among the most recognisable narrow-body aircraft in the Air India fleet today because they are frequently seen on certain local routes as well as throughout India’s international network.
These aircraft are regularly operated and continue to play a significant role in Air India’s evolution even after the merger.
The Vistara’s purple and gold livery is amongst the most exquisite airline liveries that have ever flown in India. Adding this livery would also help to preserve an important period in Indian aviation history as these aircraft gradually adopt the new Air India brand.
Adding this livery to Infinite Flight would:
- Represent the current Air India fleet more accurately.
- Allow realistic operations on numerous domestic and regional international routes.
- Preserve an iconic livery that is gradually disappearing as aircraft are repainted into Air India’s new branding.
- Be a fantastic addition for the large Indian aviation community within Infinite Flight.
I hope the Infinite Flight team considers bringing this beautiful aircraft to the simulator. It would be an excellent addition for virtual airlines, Indian operations, and aviation enthusiasts around the world.
