Taking a break from my world tour, I’m no longer a retiree journeying around the world- just a geeky virtual flight reviewer.
I arrived at the airport early, at around 7PM. After check-in, I headed straight to the Oneworld lounge and had a delicious dinner of bibimbap at the buffet and got slightly drunk at the bar. Don’t worry, I’m fine. 
To sober up I went to take a shower, then sat down and read a bit before grabbing an Americano. I must say the chairs are very comfortable, and there is a great selection of reading material.
Boarding AY42. First impression: Seat is very spacious, really like the clean blue aesthetic. The IFE screen is massive, and the legroom is very generous.

Anyway, for dinner I had the herb grilled chicken, and the spicy pork rice, and a very nice cheese platter. One of the best meals I’ve had on a plane

Dawn breaking over Finland. Now the crew have begun their breakfast service. Last night I slept very soundly, except for deliberately waking up over the pole. The seat and blanket were very soft and comfortable. 10/10.
For breakfast I had the grilled trout with eggs, salad, pastries and a coffee. The salad and steamed trout was very refreshing after a long night flight, and complemented the richness of the sauce and eggs very nicely

Parked at the gate. Excellent flight today. I would 100% recommend Finnair Biz class, service, seat and food is great. Now, let the holiday begin! (irl my school holidays are over on Jan 2
