Virtual Airline Interest for US carriers / Looking to make friends!

Hey everyone, Very new to the community here… This is something that I have been looking for help with for awhile and hoping someone can help out… I am looking to join a US carrier virtual airline but having trouble finding one that is functional. I am a highly skilled pilot in the game and have a strong passion for avaition. Also, feel free to chat with me anytime, as I could talk about US airlines and jets all day. - Just looking to be apart of something !

Are you interested in passenger or cargo? To help find va I would look at the event calendar and the active ones posting would probably be a good bet. For example I know that FedEx virtual is active along with delta va and air Canada. Feel free to dm me or one of the other regulars.

How about Southwest Virtual? You can fly any route with any of our codeshares at any rank and you get a taxi speed boost! Plus, we got the MAX-8 coming soon.

Welcome to the community! It’s awesome to hear you are interested in joining a VA, and you are correct: it is a great place to build relationships!

All VAs that are listed are “active”, though some may have less pilots and less active administrations. I am not in any American VA, so this is just going off what I’ve heard:

  1. Delta Virtual: Delta is a very popular airline that I have heard has great events and leadership! It is headed by the wonderful @mwe2187.

  2. FedEx Virtual: If you are interested in cargo, FedEx is the place to go! They have their own crew center, very frequent events, and they are very large! Another plus side is FedEx is headed by the same people who lead the Virtual Airline Regulatory Board, so they are always on top of regulations and such!

  3. Porter Virtual: I know this isn’t American, but Porter is a wonderful VA: It is small but a massive amount of time and work has been put into it: I think you would really enjoy it.

Of course, every VA is awesome! It really just depends on what you are looking for. The ones I listed above are ones that “fit your criteria”.
