Good morning/afternoon IFC
As we’re all aware Virgin Virtual staff have been really busy dealing with a lot of real life issues and concerns and this has resulted in a delay in a lot of Applications being processed. On behalf of myself and my staff team I apologise for the delay in getting back to you all.
Rest assured that I’m in the process of looking into my staff team to work out who is Active and who is not as well as the rest of the pilots within the VA to ensure that it is cleaned up to the max standard and can operate at the highest level than before.
I look forward to seeing everyone apply and we shall get back to you as soon as possible.

VGVA APPLICATIONS CLOSED
Good morning/afternoon IFC,
Due to unforeseen circumstances with the Staff team I have decided that for the next 30 days Applications will not be getting processed so that way I can do some worth within the VA during this time. Once applications are opened again all will be processed. For all current pilots you’re still able to submit your PIREPS as they will not be affected from this.

I appreciate everyone’s patience through this process, it has been long and seen removal of pilots and staff members however I’m happy to say that from 1200 AEST I’ll be going through all pilot applications and beginning to accept and welcome members into the VA so if you have applied please expect an IFC Message from me over the coming day’s.
For all the pilots who did apply over this time after you complete the check ride process you will be able to receive 2x multiplier on all flights for 1 week. Thank you all for your patience in this

Agreed, it’s one of the many liveries we don’t have. Last year for the first time in several years, we finally got another Virgin Atlantic livery, that being the one added to the A330-300. Let’s hope we can get another one!

UPDATES
It’s been a quiet time here at VGVA with members really busy IRL. However during the quiet time VGVA has many new pilots and staff members to them team.
We would just like to welcome our new staff members:
@LR_Games_HD - Chief Operations Officer
@Ken_wei - HR Manager
@Cpt.Damboo60 - Events Manager
I look forward to working alongside all my new staff member’s during their time here in the VA.
The VA has also undergone quite a refurbishment with some newer opportunities for Pilots as well as changes to make progression through ranks feel more rewarding.
A new Role was incorporated to recognise former staff who contributed to the VA this allowing them to still contribute more but in a non staff perspective as the VA wouldn’t be where it is without these people.
EVENTS
VGVA has really started to get back into the events area of things and we’re looking at holding an event through the IFC very soon so keep your eyes out and absolutely if you can then come along and get involved it will be a lot of fun for all.

Oh wow another day goes by and Virgin Virtual Group has just signed a codeshare deal with the one and only @WestjetVirtualGroup giving us an even greater variety of routes made available.
We look further to what the future holds between both our VA’s.

Good morning IFC,
On behalf of VGVA we would love to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. It’s been a crazy year here in VGVA we have seen new staff members join, new codeshares come through and many other things needless to say we’re keen for 2023.
During this holiday time the staff team here at VGVA will be taking some much deserved rest until early next January after our Staff Meeting. Rest assured applications and PIREPS will still be actioned during the holiday period.
