Recently i got my first violation unfortunately and does it reset to zero after 90 days or is it on my record permanently?.

Violations received stay on your account permanently, unfortunately. However, they only affect your grade table stats for the amount of time shown on the parenthesis.

so it will be there permanently but it will go away in my stats after the that amount of time.

Correct. If you were to view your stats, it would still appear under total violations, but it would not affect your grade table after the periods of time specified.
