Violations question

Hello, I only have level 1 violations and I have 50hrs of flight time, over 100 landings, an 49,999 XP, but do Level 1 violations stop me from reaching grade 3? Because my 15 violations are only level 1 violations

Yes, they can. If your ratio between level one violations and landings is too high it can prevent you from becoming grade 3. This is rare and if it does happen an easy way to fix it is to take a club and do a bunch of short field touch and goes. Hope this helps.

I was doing short field touch and goes at VHHH in casual, then decided to continue landing on solid water which gave xp and landings

It worked 6 days ago, but then I got a level 3 violation in my first expert flight :c Tommorow I will regain access to expert, I think my appeal was denied

What was it for? Make sure to review the user guide for how to properly use expert.

Incorrect altitude, speed, and 2 or 3 more things in 1 violation… I was unable to get good calibration after disengaging autopilot, and I was turning to the 2nm final instead of the 3nm final

If you feel like you want practice, since this is often a case of one thing is forgotten and goes wrong and then everything collapses, I would find an IFATC member who is willing to open a smaller airport and let you fly around and practice ATC commands. Often times you can join a VC through discord so they can walk you through how the commands should be followed and any corrections. Then you won’t get a violation and can practice and learn in a safe space. I did this once after joining the expert server and it was super nice and reassuring. Maybe reach out to a few different controllers via DM either here or on Discord and see who might be willing to help. It really ends up being practice for both of you! Highly recommend for anyone who wants to get a better grasp of following ATC commands.

I did train a bit, and next time I’m not gonna disengage autopilot at the wrong time
