Good morning folks, so I was flying from Budapest to Paris when I was descending onto Paris CDG, I fell asleep and woke up with 3 level one violations saying that Violation Limit Exceeded. And now I don’t know what to do. Luckily, I’m still in Grade 3. Thank God that I didn’t get degraded to Grade 2. I know that these Level 1 violations could not be appealed as they are system generated. The alarm went off and I was tired man. I was sleepy which was the reason of how I fell asleep during descent and risked three violations. So what should I do to avoid falling asleep during descent to prevent further violations?
In simple words, just don’t fly or activate VNAV when you are feeling really sleepy.
I also suffered a similar incident several months ago when I was climbing to my cruising altitude and woke up with the overspeed alarms blaring.
Don’t, fall asleep? Once you fall asleep you are unable to control or take over if something happens. Please direct message @appeals with a date, time, and reason for the appeal. Explain your side of the story and be sure to have a highlight from that flight at the ready as the Appeals Team will request it. They will probably inform you that it’s irresponsible to fly in a flight sim and fall asleep without an alarm set as you could be contacted numerous times.
Ngl. I just fell asleep mid flight, woke up the next morning to the crash screen ![]()
It’s a level one violation and it cannot be appealed as it is system generated
Okay folks, I was able to redo that Air France 1695 Flight from Budapest to Paris CDG on that A220-300 and I finally was able to descent, control/monitor my speed and land and arrive at Paris CDG. Then I was able to do that Air France 930 Heavy Flight from Paris CDG to Luanda Angola on the B777-200. So I learned my lesson not to EVER fall asleep during that descent and that whenever I’m tired, especially at around midnight or like 1 or 2 in the morning to not do the flight and do it at a later time whenever I’m fully awake, meaning that I do not fall asleep during that flight whether it’s a short haul, medium haul or long haul.
