Violation for not following Instructions, need advice

I was departing out of Heathrow and I was ordered to turn left 270, I was trying to do said left turn but was unable to and was only able to do a right turn, While trying to figure out a way to fix this, I got reported and got sent back to Grade 2

I made an appeal, sorry about the previous messages.

Anyways, to avoid any more controversy, I just want some future advice to avoid this from happening again. There is already an appeal I’ve put on.

Hello, it may not be the best idea to make a topic about this thing
Maybe messaging @appeals or the controller could help

I’m wondering what makes you unable to do a left turn in London, a non-mountainous area with (as far as I know) no constraints against doing a turn in one direction but not the other.

First off, creating a topic on the IFC wherein you call someone an idiot, is not ok. Second, saying that you were unable to complete a left turn, out of Heathrow, after being given instructions to turn left, indicate that you, in fact, did not follow instructions. Now, the proper way to handle this, is to file an appeal with the @appeals team. You can file your appeal by following the instructions laid out here.

In the future, I would recommend not insulting people from the get go when requesting help here on the IFC. It tends to make people not want to help.

I’ve reedited the previous statement and replaced it with an apology. Now, I did try to change the direction of where i was turning but I was not able to turn left.

While typing this, I was doing a test flight and I found out my plane was doing a right turn because it was the closest way for it to head to 270.

So when I was climbing out of Heathrow, I took a slight right turn when I was adjusting the heading knob which resulted in the plane taking said right turn, When I set it to 270, the plane commited to the right turn instead of the left turn I wanted it to do.
