ATC violated me for landing without permission after I called twice while on approach to JFK last night. I was watching the radio calls and noticed that tower hadn’t gotten back to me but was clearing other aircrafts movement at the airport. So, i called again and waited as I kept getting closer but i got no response. Just as i was about to touch down, i get a violation… so tower noticed me and saw i was on approach but doesn’t get back to me but violates me anyway?
A good portion of time had passed between calls for tower to notice me…
