NOTAM: Hey there folks!!! This time Velder Airways has decided that we think it is time to do something that not a lot of VA’s have done yet… Decide what there Global Hubs will be!
There will be 3 parts for 3 hubs
2 Domestic Hubs (USA)
1 International Hub (???)
I have came up with two Hubs that I think would be good and we are gonna see what you guys… the pilots like best.
So without further ado here are the competing Hubs!!
FIRST UP FROM THE GREAT STATE OF TEXAS IN THE RIGHT CORNER WE HAVE…
HOUSTON INT’L AIRPORT!!
IN THE LEFT CORNER FROM THE FANTASTIC STATE OF NEVADA…
LAS VEGAS MCCARRAN INT’L AIRPORT
So here is how it is gonna work if you want to see KIAH (Houston) one of our global Hubs fly on over to KNUC in a United 757.
If you want to see KLAS (Las Vegas) as one of our global Hubs, fly on over to KLAX. The plane you will use to support it will be an Allegiant Air 757
Flight Plans will come later on.
The cruising altitude to KNUC will be 11000 ft at 275 KTS
If you are going to KLAX you’re cruising altitude will be 19000 and your cruising speed will be 345 KTS
My choice is my choice, therefore it is my choice to whether I join or not ;) And currently, I’m OK not joining any Virtual Airlines. Most likely once Global is released I’ll join.
That’s one way to turn people away from your VA. Give them unclear messages, and then get angry at them because they didn’t understand. For that reason, I’ll stay put instead of going to your “EVENT.”
I dont think you should pick LAX. Many people do fly there, but it is just too crowded. You should pick a unique airport that makes your airline who it is! :)
Hubs should be decided in a different manner to be honest. But just my 2 cents. Also, having only 2 viable, which both arent that great location wise and caracteristic wise, I would rethink my decisions. But not my deal. Good luck with the “event” tho.
