Vancouver International Airport - CYVR

I was in the international terminal at YVR and had an excellent view of the arrival runways. Here are some of the planes I spotted.

Air Canada Express (Jazz) Bombardier Dash-8 Q400 (C-GJZA)

Air Canada Rouge Boeing 767-300ER (C-FMWV)

Air Canada Boeing 787-9 (C-FKSV)

Air Canada Boeing 777-300ER (C-FIVW)

Delta Connection (Skywest) Bombardier CRJ-701ER (N603SK)

Air Canada Airbus A330-300 (C-GFAF)

China Southern Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner (B-2736)

WestJet Boeing 737-800 Winglets (C-FKRF)

Air Canada Airbus A319 (C-GBIP)

Japan Airlines Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner (JA827J)

That’s all! Thanks for taking a look!

Great photos from a great airport. Vancouver is possibly one of my favourite airports to fly into, flying any Europe-CYVR route usually ends with a great turning valley style approach. The departure with Air Canadas fleet of dash 8’s is also a good one up the river

I used my Canon Rebel T5 with an 85mm f/1.8 USM lens (which I just dropped and broke, RIP).

I just dropped it off at Canon to see what’s wrong with it. I’m hoping it is just a warped mount, but it is probably much worse since I dropped it from 3.5 feet onto a solid marble floor. The AF will most likely need recalibration or an outright replacement of the USM motor itself. Best case cost is CAD35 for the replacement of the mount plus diagnostics, worst case is CAD635 to fully replace my lens because an element mounting point sheared in the housing and it would cost more for a replacement housing and transfer of the undamaged elements.

You’re too kind. :)

Those pics are amazing, specially the 787 and the 777.
Can you photograph some Day the Lufthansa 747?

Thanks for the kind words. I do not have the LH 747 unfortunately. I do have some 747s from another session that I’ll post once I’m done with post-processing.
