I am not sure what is going on, but for the last hour I have been vectored up and down the coast of India with no indication I am going to land anytime soon. I am now 130nm away from the airport after passing the approach lanes 3 times.
Trying for a 4th time now with Mumbai Center.
They have a lot of aircraft to deal with and only 1 useable runway. I’m sure they are doing the best they can.

I understand completely. I see the take off line. I also have been in prime position to integrate into the approach pattern, but have been vectored up and down the coast.
They could open up 14 for take offs considering it is the longer of the two runways, but I am not controlling and I am appreciative of what they do. Just don’t like flying around for 90 minutes up and down the coast.
Then again, having a private chat is not something I like to do because they have their hands full already.
14/32 is shorter than 09/27. Also using intersecting runways will just slow things down.

I was holding for nearly an hour today, but that was some commendable job down at VABB. Way too much traffic for a single runway, but great work in my opinion.
