hi there fellow south floridian @CEEKAYDA_97!!! If a VA is not active anymore and you’d like to start it again you can do that. If there isn’t already an Asiana VA then I think you can also do that

Asiana is owned by Korean Air, so it operates under @KoreanAirVirtual. Check the VARB database for more info!

Simple question:
What about VAs who have been certified and are not active? What is the regulatory board @IFVARB doing about airlines who do not actively participate in this world of VAs, who don’t answer applications and are obviously only present with a name in the digital world?

They reach out and see if they will continue operations I think

Just a quick update:
I applied to two very very big airlines (in real world) and did not get one single reply in the VA world.
That is to let you all know about the VAs being existent in the IF world but in fact useless.
Very very sad, esp. for aviation enthusiasts.
@DocScorpio How long have you waited to be contacted by the VA? Because I know many of them are just taking longer to accept people. It took me 3 weeks to get into SWVA, and American VA still hasn’t reached out to me about my application 4 weeks ago. But they are still active, just slow with applications

Always remember that the people running these VAs have their own lives as well so its possible they are busy and that’s partly why applications are running a bit slow…

Normally it should take couple of days for a VA to answer. If it’s longer than that then you can send a DM to VA account
Right, and that’s you. But you don’t run a VA. I’m sure there’s a reason why they aren’t responding. But like it was said above, send them a DM, or the president/ceo a dm, which should help further your application. All I’m saying is that just because they don’t respond doesn’t mean they aren’t active
