Hello! I always fly out of Newark in infinite flight and irl. I have made multiple radio calls announcing the runways in use. Why does a grade five and other users have to use the wrong runway! Why don’t you check the real life ops? That’s very important. And you don’t land on runway 22R it’s 22L… if the 22’s were in use which they aren’t then 22R would typically be for departures and 22L arrivals, it’s important to use realism when flying professionally on expert. This is very unprofessional and embarrassing. I strongly think there needs to be change in the expert server.

First off, Grade basically means nothing. It’s just an indicator of how much one flies, and not about professionalism or anything.
Secondly, a lot of users don’t bother with checking IRL ops and all that. They just open the app, spawn in and go. As long as users aren’t getting in the way of each other or breaking any rules, there’s nothing technically wrong with it.

A lot of users like me use the simulator for realism… and when someone breaks the rule world flow especially when it comes to safety and runway ops that’s a really big issue.

Unfortunately there’s not really much that can be done about it. We’ve had the recent Expert Server Feedback forms, but I would be surprised if anything comes of it to the degree of making runway usage extremely strict to IRL operations.

Infinite Flight should introduce an Expert+ mode that goes far beyond the current system. Access shouldn’t just be givenit should be earned. Before entering Expert+, pilots would have to pass a proper theory examination covering real aviation knowledge like procedures, airspace rules, Expert+ status would not be permanent. If a pilot stops maintaining the required level of realism over time, they would lose access and return to standard Expert operations. I saw a pilot on approach on left base earlier; he got himself totally confused regarding what base was, he said xzy on left downwind when he was on left base . The requirements should definitely improve for expert if the other mode is not in the works.

Adding another server would just increase costs, but yes some of your suggestions are definitely needed on the existing Expert server imo. I voiced as much on the feedback form.

I’m a stickler for realism, especially at my hometown airport(s) - LGA/JFK/LGA. So anything that doesn’t follow IRL procedures drives me nuts. Whenever I see someone who’s Grade 5, I automatically think that they’re 1) IF Staff or 2) Someone who should know better lol

Does it really cost a lot to run a server?
I had someone behind me on Final at Mumbai, a few minutes ago, he/she sped up, overtook me 800ft above me to land first on Expert Server, I had to go around.
But what can I do, there was no ATC, just try and enjoy the sim as much as you can, these are some of the things we have no control over.

Oh yes. You’re talking about a global server handling thousands of players at a time, running 24/7, 365. But besides cost, it will also draw out the number of users, and most users prefer a busy server with a few people who are ignorant to an empty server with ultra realism enforced. And the fact is that users will always find ways to be ignorant or to troll.
And yeah, like Benny said above, grade 5 only means that the user has a ton of time to fly and do landings. The most professional users I’ve ever seen are always grade 3 or 4, because they typically have a responsible life
