I was wondering what is the point of a VOR in infinite flight. I have heard of people using them in their flight plan. When I turn on RNAV it just flights to the VOR then to the next waypoint, so how do I actually fly a VOR?

I used them today and last week as the airports I was flying to only had VOR approaches available. It’s so nice you can tune them in now.

So when I tune into it and I’m close I set Nav to Nav1 then what? I’m a little confused with what to do after that. Also is this for VFR or IFR
