I was on approach when I got the UserDisconnected issue. Can somebody help?
Right now I‘m flying in circles above the ocean hoping I get connected soon but I don’t have much fuel left :(
You won’t get reconnected in the current session unfortunately
You need to either end the session completely or use Flight Resume
It’s happened to me on occasion, and Flight Resume was the only way to fix the problem, when I had a disconnected session
Given it looks like you’re orbiting VABB, if you still intend to land there, you’ll need to create extra FPL waypoints to another airport 30 mins away in order for Flight Resume to work, as one of the requirements is to be 30 mins or more from your destination
I just quit the flight. It would be very complicated to use resume and I wouldn‘t have enough fuel.
But it makes me kinda sad
Unfortunately I suspect you did the right thing under the circumstances
If your IF client doesn’t reconnect after a few mins, then it usually won’t reconnect at all. And the only way to fix is via restarting the session, ideally using Flight Resume.
It’s a fairly common bug that the majority of users experience from time to time. Fortunately, if you catch it at cruise when more than 30 mins from your destination, the fix is simple.
