I tried searching for a similar or overlapping feature request, but couldn’t find a good fit.
Many times, I’ve wished I could adjust the starting conditions for the landing setup when hitting the short final button in solo mode.
In particular perhaps: starting speed, distance from the runway threshold, default throttle position etc.
Some aircraft types require considerably more care than others when spawning into short final.
Reactions required range from not much at all to quite abrupt depending upon aircraft type due to differences in stability, and deviations from starting equilibrium (imbalanced forces upon spawning causing significant changes in linear and or rotational speed).
Certainly, a default solo setup still makes sense because it would be cumbersome to define setup parameters every time one wants to practice with short final (especially for newer users).
Maybe just a “delta” adjustment for key parameters (incremental increase in distance from threshold etc.), could make it more user friendly(?).
For aircraft considered most difficult to land, users might find use in discussing what are the optimal short final spawning conditions to achieve the best landing.
