Hello all
I’ve been trying to make some flights today but i fail in all… Suddenly the app got frozen and the aircraft stopped moving midair with its sounds roaring… Then got a problem in USER ACCOUNT (turned yellow)…
I left the app, then the servers got connected again but unfortunately i was kicked out from Live Server


I’ve been suffering lately from this issue many times and i cannot do any flight…
NOTE: My wifi connection is stable and working perfectly… Switching off/on the router didn’t solve the issue…
Now I’m midflight in a Training Server just half an hour before arrival… I’m obliged now to terminate the flight…
Could anyone help me as I couldn’t complete any flight today?

I remember your post from yesterday.


Since you’ve tried almost everything, I think that a reinstall might be needed. You will unfortunately lose all your replays.

That will delete all my REPLAYS… I don’t want that… It’s very annoying… I couldn’t do any flight today and what’s getting on nerve is that all issues happened before arrival… Please i need help… I couldn’t get a benefit from my subscription

Ok, can you try switching Airplane mode for 30 seconds and see if that helps resolve the issue?

I’ve tried all attempts with no avail… I’m sure the problem isn’t related to my wifi

Wait, can you tell me your location currently where you’re flying , and server because I will see If I can see you on LiveFlight if you are connected

I was flying from SCEL to SAEZ as LAN 455 but don’t bother yourself, i’ve just ended the flight

Export your replays? I’m not sure what else to say than to reinstall at this point, considering you seem to have tried everything else.

If this was a server issue, you would not be the only one affected.

Had the same thing… was almost done with a 11 hour flight :(

But why have I been suffering from this many times today although my connection is very good… The app got frozen, then my USER ACCOUNT, then WEATHER, and after all these servers came alive; I found myself outside the server… That’s annoying after 4 flights without any success to complete even one of them

When you say your connection is good, what do you base that on?

Based on that all other devices in my home are working perfectly within the same wifi network… Also based on that my NAVIGRAPH application on the laptop and SimBrief were all working perfectly during the issue… The IF is the only application that wasn’t working and got frozen many times

That’s really frustrating when you’ve done hours of flying without being able to land because of server particularly when you were pretty sure that you had a stable connection

Unfortunately that doesn’t say much. Loading webpages are quite basic as it only requires a few loads and then it’s done.

Our servers are continuously communicating with your device. Several handshakes are made every second. So if you’re having several short drops, you might experience issues as the ones you’ve been having.

You’re right… However; YouTube as well was perfectly working without any tiny interruption in the connection…
So in this case what can i do to run a flight smoothly?! I haven’t been able to fly today at all

I had a similar issue on a old device (iPad Air 2) before I got my new one. It normally reconnected after a short time being frozen (apart from the sound), so probably instead of exiting the app try this next time (if you haven’t already).

I have iPad Air 2019, it’s basically new and i’ve bought it just since 2 months… When the app got frozen; i did nothing but wait until it recovered by itself… The problem is after recovery you’d find yourself kicked out from Live Server due to lack of response which you could do nothing about it… That issue ruined many of my flights… Today i’ve not been able to fly at all😰

Streaming like with YouTube for example is not that different from a webpage. Just bigger chunks :)

The freezing you mention is known to happen some times with connection drops. I’m in no way neglecting the fact that it shouldn’t happen at all, but the root cause is connection related.

Trust me, I’d like nothing more than for you to have a better experience than this.

Just for the sake of it, have you at some point tried using a different connection source? Like different WiFi, cellular or smth.
