USAF B-1 Bomber to Fly Over Medical Centers Across Texas

A United States Air Force B-1 Bomber assigned to Dyess AFB will fly over medical centers across Amarillo, Lubbock, Midland/Odessa, and Abilene as a salute to those on the frontline of COVID-19.

It will start at 11:21 AM on Friday, May 15th, and fly over Thomas E. Creek VA Medical Center in Amarillo, TX. Then it will make its way to Lubbock and fly over Lubbock VA Clinic, Lubbock Covenant Hospital, and Lubbock Children’s Hospital. Next will be Odessa regional, and Midland Memorial. It will end in Abilene with a flyover over Abilene Hendrick and Regional.

Times of flyovers are posted below.

I will try to take some pictures of it. I’m not into plane-spotting so I don’t have a really good camera, but I guess my phone will do.

Yeah to be honest I’m kinda surprised that they’re flying over small cities. Here in Amarillo we honestly classify ourself as a small city/huge town.

I am surprised they allow that to fly in public seeing it is top secret.
