US Airways ERJ-190 spotted at KXNA?

I was board so I was watching planes on approach at Northwest Arkansas Regional. All of suddenly comes a US Airways ERJ-190.

This is odd. Number one because US Airways is gone. And number two because XNA usually has CRJs or the Occasional MD-80. Can anyone explain this.

Yes the aircraft is in US Airways livery, but since the merger with American, the aircraft is operated by American Eagle.

Was the plane an E-190 or were you actually seeing an E-170/E-175. I am not familiar with XNA but if you say that E-190s rarely pass through there, perhaps you mis-took the frame?

@Nick_Catalano US Airways operates E-190s. They fall outside scope clause

A lovely airport. I will be there on Sunday.

Last year I flew in and out of KXNA twice a week. American had one MD80 flight a day that usually went to DFW during peak times. I think since then they stopped the MD80 flights and went with the CRJ. A few of my flights were on the smaller Airbus. Come to think of it, my flight on Sunday from DFW is a CR7.
