If you switch using the menu, it just displays the cargo, pax, and fuel as lbs. the display will still show kg
This is a limitation of the live cockpits at the moment - they don’t update things like weight units.

I’m asking because in the real world if the company uses lbs the displays would show lbs
Yes it would - but we don’t have that capability in Infinite Flight (at this time anyway).

That’s sad because it’s been out for how many years already
It’s really not that big of a deal in my opinion - you can just have your weight (Airplane Load) show in the status bar - and it will show in the units you have chosen.
The metric system is by far the most used for weight by airlines across the world. Only a few older US airlines still uses lbs.
So, there’s not much point to be entirely honest

Wrong the USA uses lbs not kgs only Canada and other European countries uses kgs
As I said, a few older US airlines yes.
But not more newly formed.

As if North America and Europe were the only places to have airlines in the world…

North south Europe etc In the us were taught using lbs so for us kgs is more complicated for us to convert
Well, time to learn then
No but in all seriousness - as the vast majority of the aircrafts in the world are configured for kilograms, putting resources into “fixing” this is simply not worth it

It isn’t “that hard to convert” when you can literally switch between the two in IF itself; failing that, calculators do exist or a quick Google search will suffice.
There are a grand total of three countries in the world that officially use the imperial system; the rest of the world and their airlines overwhelmingly use kg instead of lbs as a measurement of mass as a result, hence the fact that the majority of aircraft are configured to use kg instead of lbs.

Similar to how simple it is to translate this, there are many simple ways to convert kg to lbs! My favorite way is simply google. When you search what you want converted it will come out just as you want.
