Hello everybody
I completed a flight from TNCM. Due to heavy traffic, I had to wait quite a while in line, so I decided to do some spotting, when I witnessed this:
As you can see, there are two aircraft: A 737 back taxiing and a C208 departing from the opposite side. The 208 overflew the 737 just 100ft above. ATC gave immediate T/O clearance to the departing 208, with traffic on final and the 737 on the runway. I doubt that’s a real world procedure, and I don’t remember seeing this in the ATC manual. I do have the user’s username, but I will keep them anonymous unless I get asked by a moderator to do so. If I said anything wrong, please correct me.
