After my school I noticed a unknown aircraft flying pattern. Photo was taken 19.01.2026 at 15:21 local time (Poland) .
At first I was excited because it was my first time seeing a circling aircraft irl. I thought that it could be normal aircraft holding before arrival and decided to check flightradar to complete my documentation
I checked every aircraft near me tho no one showed a holding pattern in flight route.
I think it was a military aircraft with transponder turned off. What do you think? I appreciate any information

Not all aircraft (including small GA aircraft) have ADS-B transponders, which is what FR24 uses.

but not many GA aircraft (maybe vision jet) have contrails though

Most likely a military tanker on some aerial refueling stuff. I see them all the time running patterns in the sky for that type of thing

Usually happens here with the RAAF super hornets

and sometimes here in Greenville with USAF F-16s and F-22s
