Unjustified level 2 violation

Device: iPhone 14
Operating system: iOS

Dear IF support,

recently I was flying from EDDF to EDHK with a Lufthansa A320 and I got a level 2 violation for allegedly not following ATC instructions. But when logged in there wasn’t any ATC online. I was connected to the Unicom which I used. There wasn’t any note that an ATC logged in, neither for ground nor tower.

On the map there where several planes only as propeller planes visible, but no plane or player data included. Surrounding me I couldn’t see them at all. Only when I activated plane dots and names, I could see a white square a the word “Unknown”, but nothing more. I thought those were ghost players. There where several of them. But most players on the radar I could see with regular plane data and names. On the ground they were also normally visible.

I can send you video evidence so you can see the problem.

Thanks for your help.

Seems to me like your connection to the live server was unstable. There might have been an ATC online trying to get through to you, but your connection made it seem as if there wasn’t an ATC at all…

Exactly. But to me the games was working normally, only some “ghost” players. I didn’t get any callouts from an ATC - so for me there were no instructions which I could have followed. I think it’s not making sense punishing me for a server error.

Screen record your replay and forward it to the appeals team, you should have that violation removed ASAP.

Just did that. Thanks for support.

Kein problem. 👍
