As one of the leading (if not the best) aviation universities in the country this livery would make a great addition to the PA-28 once it’s realeased in Infinite Flight. The University of North Dakota (call sign: Sioux) is one of Pipers largest customers today and operates one of the largest Piper Archer fleets worldwide, with most featuring the state of the art Garmin G1000 flight system. The University of North Dakota (UND) provides flight training at Grand Forks International Airport (KGFK) in North Dakota as well as Mesa Gateway Airport (KIWA) in Arizona. Recognized for the iconic Forest green and white livery featuring gold cheat lines, I think this would be an excellent asset in the Infinite Flight collection of aircraft.
Very awesome! I’m up in North Dakota, never talked to a Phoenix student. Is operating under the Bravo annoying/tough? think the bottom of the shelf right below ya is 3000 ft right?
It’s not too bad. We have standard approach and departure procedures that the school and airport have agreed upon. The bravo is at about 4000 at its lowest above our airport. We usually depart south to our practice area which is pretty much outside of the bravo. For cross country flights we will normally fly around the bravo or through the VFR corridors. Unless we are on IFR flight plans there’s no use messing with the bravo.
