United Express CRJ550 (New Livery)

image
United recently bought some CRJ-550’s. They recently took delivery of them, and they are painted in the new livery! Wow, dosent it look great!

I mean a general livery update to the airlines would be nice. Air Canada, United, Lufthansa, and a couple others.

No problemo. I recently flew on united to hawwaii from calgary and on a 5 hour layover in San Fran I did some plane spotting and saw a few.

I saw one of them in Austin after it diverted from Houston!

Isnt this just a CRJ700? Still a cool livery though. I support this!

Haha yup. Except the interior has been reworked for a 50 seat config.

@mogbog pretty much just a few things are different

I don’t know why the new livery is hated so much, I find that it looks awesome!

I agree. I truly hated it with a passion but now it’s one of my favorites. It really grows on you

Unfortunately I don’t have any votes. However I would love to see a United Express livery especially for a plane in the CRJ series.

Look at this high quality shot of this beautiful bird at ERAU
Fun fact: First shot of the 550 in the new livery in the JP database

UA’s new livery is very fitting on the CRJ-700

Yes it is! I really like it, especially since it’s been out for some time now

Great shot, is it in service yet?

It is currently in service. It is live as we speak

I would’ve liked it, but sadly not. The tail just isn’t on the same page as the fuselage, and I can’t stand it! I also want some Continental gold back, oh well.

And now they are out on a mass scale!

Thank you!
