Santa Maria Airport (SMX) has just announced United Airlines will return with service to San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Denver:

From June 4, 2020, United will launch daily service using the CRJ-200 from Santa Maria to SFO, LAX, and DEN.

  • United previously served SFO and LAX a few years ago.
  • DEN-SMX is a new route for the airline.

Seeing that last pic, allegiant will probably fly there more.

I would expect Allegient to LAS or Sun Country to MSP possibly

Typo on my part, Allegiant already serves Las Vegas, not LAX.

Lol, Santa Maria wants to be just like Santa Barbara! I think either Contour or Allegiant will be the airlines. If Contour, maybe SMX-SAN or SMX-OAK. If Allegiant, then SMX-LAS.

I’m guessing DEN or LAX

OAK, LAS, SAN, and LAX are all options. I’d like to see OAK happen, but who knows. 10 minutes left!

I would love to see SMX-SJC! πŸ˜ƒ

San Jose needs more California destinations

I am guessing Frontier Airlines to Denver.

It’s official: United Airlines SFO, LAX, and DEN

Oh come on! 😑

Score for DEN. But where exactly is Santa Maria?

Right in the middle of LAX/SFO

Another decent sized California airport like SJC and Sacramento? Gotcha.
