On March 1, 2025, after 11 days in FTW, International Aerospace Coatings completed N27908’s transformation to Evo-Blue. She departed FTW bound for ORD the same day, where she resumed commercial operations.

I’m gonna be sad when the last 787-8 gets repainted. The first 1/400 scale Dreamliner I ever got was a United Airlines one, at Burbank’s House of Hobbies after I saw one at LAX in 2014. I still have that model back home in Tennessee.

(I also remember the flight number and aircraft type I was on - AA1307 from BNA-LAX, a 737-800)
