That’s an awfully long journey back home just from a paint job. Why did it have to get painted all the way out in Germany when all of the others had been painted within the US?

4519 and 4526 were produced in Hamburg. D-AZAG and D-AZWR, respectively.

It’s because they are brand new A321NEOs made by Airbus in Hamburg so they might as well finish the job and paint it there so it can go into service as quick as possible.

On May 22, 2024, after 16 days in CWF, LandLocked Aviation Services completed N420UA’s transformation to Evo-Blue. She departed CWF bound for DEN the same day, where she resumed commercial operations.

UAL paused 32Q deliveries while the fleet was in for radio repairs. 4510 was the last of the backlog; deliveries will continue next month.
